Please come back to the wonderful world of what we like to call music. You are an inspiration to many people, including me. Your lyrics are genius and your music is incredible and moving. Yet, somehow, you are so modest when it comes to other musicians calling you amazing, which is one of the best things about you. Your sets are from your heart and you get mad when people want to hear something that you have yet to play. However, i’d be a little upset too if my favorite artist didn’t play my favorite song. Then again, none of your songs are bad. Not even a tiny bit. Every single song you write is like a new awakening. Someone said to me tonight, “If you have everything Ryan Adams has ever done and there are things of his that you have yet to listen to, it’s like finding a new album when you do.” You are my definition of beautiful. You have achieved and overcome so many things most people would never be able to do. You have healed many hearts and dried many tears, as well as caused many tears to fall. You pick people up off their feet when it feels like they are about to fall. I love you. We all love you. So, take your time with your marriage and your own endeavors, but one day, please come back. Release another record. Go on another tour. If it’s by yourself, or with The Cardinals, or even with a new band. No matter what you do, you will always be my inspiration.
